Why We Give a Puck?
Hockey has long been perceived as a male-dominated sport, and many females did not grow up playing themselves. This absence of personal experience often results in lower levels of comfort, confidence, and connection with the sport—leading to limited female representation in coaching and leadership roles.
Our mission is to INCREASE the number of females in hockey by highlighting ways to:
Improve the coaching environment in organizations
Educate parents on the greatness of hockey for their DAUGHTERS!
Attract and retain more female coaches and players
Improve the player environment for female players
